These terms govern your use of Trophe. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Trophe is a personal project run by an individual developer, not a company — treat this as a plain-language description of the rules, not a formal legal document.

Not medical advice

Trophe generates nutrition and meal plan suggestions using an AI model based on the information you provide. These suggestions are for general informational purposes only and are not medical, dietary, or health advice. Trophe is not a substitute for consulting a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified professional, especially if you have a medical condition, food allergy, or specific dietary requirement. Use your own judgment, and check with a professional before making significant changes to your diet.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• You need to provide a valid email address to create an account, since we use it for sign-in and account-related notices.
• You can stop using Trophe at any time. To have your account and data deleted, see the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Please don't use Trophe to:

• Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent rate limits on the service (including the free calculator tool).
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to harm, harass, or impersonate others.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.

Shared plans

If you use the "share plan" feature, anyone with the link can view that plan — it is not private or access-controlled. Don't share links to plans containing information you don't want others to see.

The service as-is

Trophe is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be available at all times, free of errors, or that meal plan suggestions will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Trophe.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may add, change, or remove features (including introducing paid plans in the future), and may update these terms as the app evolves. If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
